  3. Hi,

I have tried this method but the phone is not responding. I have downloaded and pasted the "Super SU zip file " on SD card. Then switched off the phone and started it again in recovery mode. It is taking too much time to open SD Card and also for Updating the "Super SU zip file ". So finally I have stopped to update it.

Please tell the reason why it is taking much time to open SD card and updating the Zip file. (Also the phone is not rebooting fast :()

    Thanks,
    Anant

    1. I think there must be a problem with your SD card. Transfer the file on another SD card and then try. If your phone is not rebooting you have to reflash the software from service center or try a wipe data factory reset in recovery mode but you will loose all the data

  4. The install from the file on the sd card starts and aborted for both files. Any clues? Trying to root to fix GPS lock issues.

  8. for people who are looking to Un-root your phone the easiest way, there's an app in play store called "universal unroot". its a paid app but m sure you can get it for free if you google it. i was able to successfully un-root my Xolo q800. might work for you too. give it a try but please dont blame me if you mess something up(it's just a click or two click process you cant possibly go wrong). this is the link to play store check the video there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.universal.unroot&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS51bml2ZXJzYWwudW5yb290Il0.

  9. Please be warned you can not root your phone again after you unroot using Universal unroot as mentioned above.

  10. I did all the testing in my xolo q800 guys both rooting and unrooting and again tried rooting my phone everything went fine. Just that after using universal unroot if you want to root again you will have to factory reset your phone and root again if you really want to root that's all. Do everything on your own risk just like I did.
