How to Install Clockworkmod recovery on Karbonn S5 Titanium

Karbonn Titanium S5 was launched nearly a month ago. It is a dual SIM handset with 5 inch screen with qHD resolution (960×540 pixels). It is powered by 1.2GHz Quad core processor. The ram is 1GB. At the back it has a 8MP camera. This phone runs on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Other features are 3G, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, GPS etc. The battery is of a 2000mAh capacity. The specifications are quite good considering the price point. There are two clones of this device such as Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 & Archos 50 platinum so you can install Clockworkmod recovery on any of these device by same method.

Requirements:- Clockworkmod recovery, Terminal Emulator, Rooted Karbonn S5 Titanium, Basic knowledge of recovery

Instructions

1. Download the CWM recovery from above and rename it to "recovery.img". Transfer it to the root of your SD card (not in any folder)
2. Start the Terminal 'emulator app and type " dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 " (without inverted commas) then click enter
3. There will be some text written at the bottom in Terminal emulator
4. Then exit the app
You have successfully installed/flashed Clockworkmod recovery on Karbonn S5 Titanium or Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 or Archos 50 platinum

Entering in Recovery mode

Press Power and Volume+ buttons and keep holding it for some time. When you see a green screen, you can leave the power button but keep holding Volume+ button. Now you will shortly see a red screen, then press the Home button on your phone. Your is now sucessfully booted in CWM recovery

To revert back to Stock

To get back to the stock recovery you just have to follow same steps mentioned above with this file
