Micromax A88 Canvas Music is a Dual SIM android smartphone in the Canvas series. Its has a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 pixels capactivie touch screen display. And runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor. And for taking pictures and videos it has a rear 5MP Auto Focus Camera with dual LED Flash, 0.3 MP front-facing camera. The ram 512MB along with 4GB internal memory further expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD. Packs in all connectivity features like 3G,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS with a 1800 mAh battery to power it up. You get JBL Tempo headset free with the phone. Its a good deal for the price. The hardware and the software is almost similar to the Canvas 2. Rooting the A88 Canvas Music is not at all a geeks job it is very easy. 

Requirements:- PC/Laptop with Drivers installed, Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry, Basic knowledge of Rooting

Instructions

1. Make sure that USB debugging is on your device. To enable go to Settings>Development >USB debugging
2. Extract the Rooting Kit on your PC and connect your phone. Don't turn on USB Storage
3. In the Rooting kit folder you have extracted Click the "Runme.bat" file
4. A command prompt will start now
5. Now you will get Onscreen
Instructions just follow them  carefully. To start the process just type "1" and then hit Enter.
6. Now you will get the instructions on the command
prompt follow that.
7. Your device will now reboot

Now you will find a app called Superuser in the app drawer which means you have successfully rooted your Micromax A88 Canvas Music

Unrooting the phone:- Instep 5 instead of typing "1" type "x" and hit enter. This will Unroot your Micromax A88 Canvas Music

      Try the latest version of the bin4ry tool from xda or try to install framaroot.
