Xolo Opus Q1000 is a dual-SIM smartphone with 5 inch IPS LCD. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. It sports 5MP rear camera to capture images and shoot 720p HD videos. For connectivity, it has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB. Other features include GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, 1080p HD video playback, 4GB internal storage, and 32GB expandable memory. The phone runs on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS and has finally recieved a Android 4.4 KitKat update. Xolo is said to push OTA (Over The Air) updates to the customers but as of now you have to update the phone to Android 4.4 KitKat. The process is quite simple and you should not have any issues with it. The update is official and not void your warranty so you dont have to worry at all. Instructions
- Download the update.zip file and transfer it to your phone memory (not in any folder)
- Launch ‘XOLO Care’ app on your phone
- In tab ‘UPDATE’ click on ‘Check for software update
- Click ‘Check for updates’
- Click ‘Continue’
Now your Q1000 Opus will reboot and install the update, Enjoy the experince of Android 4.4 KitKat on your Xolo Q1000 Opus.
